David Hultgren is the Vice President of Client Services and Product Development
for Prism Learning Solutions. Since 1985, he has served as a corporate
training and organization development consultant and has a broad range
of experience working with adult learners and various organizational functions.
David has designed, developed and delivered training and OD interventions
in the areas of leadership, performance management, change management,
communication, team building, speaking, and process improvement for numerous
corporations globally.
Throughout his career, David has conducted hundreds
of workshops in the U.S. and around the world—in industries ranging
from health care to manufacturing and high tech. His expertise includes
Instructional Systems Design (ISD). David has worked with numerous clients
to create customized Leadership Academies—tightly integrated supervisory
and leadership development programs to develop the competencies most important
to a specific client.
David also consults with clients undertaking organizational
change initiatives. In this change consultant capacity, David has worked
with clients in both the public and private sectors. His consulting work
has included facilitating strategic planning sessions, conducting executive
interviews, and working with process redesign teams.
David holds a Ph.D.
in Education from Michigan State University. His work there emphasized
curriculum development and instruction. He has been published in Training & Development
Journal and The Handbook of Best Practices for Teams—Volume II.
