Discus Team is a unique software package that takes DISC to the next
level. Discus Team takes individual profiles and downloads them into
everything from specialized reports on individual working relationships
to a general analysis of the overall team. Discus Team can analyze teams
with any number of members. It also has the facility to find ideal
additions to a team and can create entirely new teams suited to specific
tasks, automatically.
Discus Team makes team development as easy as clicking the mouse. DISC
profiles from the Discus database can be combined and recombined in
seconds to either describe an existing team or develop a new one.
Discover the main motivators within the team, the relative importance of
different DISC factors, and much more. Discus Team makes it possible to
create and analyze any combination of behavioral styles in literally a
matter of seconds. Discus Team has been designed to make it easy to
experiment with different combinations of individuals to find the
optimum team selection.

• A wealth of detail on the team’s operational style
• An analysis of every working relationship within the team
• A thorough description of the style of the existing or designated team
leader
• Extensive information on the needs of team members from their leader
Besides reporting on the team as a whole, Discus Team has a reporting
suite given over entirely to analyzing individual relationships within a
group. This can interpret strengths and potential within a working
relationship of any two people, as well as possible areas of conflict,
and report these in plain language. This relationship analysis is
sensitive to the roles of individual members. Where one of these members
occupies a leadership role, the report is adapted to take this important
element of the relationship fully into account.
A particularly powerful tool within Discus Team is the Team Profile
utility that extends the power of Discus Team even further. It gives the
user the ability to create behavioral descriptions of an ideal team’s
requirements. It can search the database of DISC profiles to find the
ideal combination of individuals automatically featuring a comparison
between the existing team and ideal model.
